Multi-Modality, Trauma-Informed Therapy

I blend clinical precision with embodied healing — so you can heal in the best way for you.

Offering virtual care across Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Wyoming. Based in Southington, CT.

"Her insights are practical, grounded, and tailored to my needs.

I’ve worked with Cassandra for almost a decade. She listen deeply, asks thoughtful questions, and has an incredible ability to help me see things more clearly without ever feeling judged." —TD

“…she consistently provides a safe, non-judgmental space.

With her support, I have made progress in managing my mental health and improving my relationships. I recommend her to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated therapist." — KS

“I cannot overstate the impact she has had on my life.

Through EMDR and her deeply compassionate approach, she has helped me work through significant anxiety and trauma in a way that always felt safe and supported.”
— JC

You’ve Done The Self-Work, But Something Isn’t ‘Clicking’.

As a therapist of 11+ years of experience and over 500 clients served, what I hear over and over is: “I’ve tried to manage, but meditating and talk therapy just aren’t leading me to feeling better.” “I feel like my therapist supports me in the office, but I don’t have the tools to navigate my anxiety and depression in the real world.” “Respectfully, journaling isn’t going to solve my issues.”

And I agree. You deserve more than a therapist that just listens — you deserve healing.

I’m Cassandra Marcheggiani, And I Invite You To Get Comfortable

Seriously - I'm an LGBTQIA+ therapist that's almost always barefoot in my office. And if we meet in person, my certified emotional support dog Rue will be here to assist you, too.

I mix modalities based on what you need (with your permission, of course!). One session may combine EMDR with Reiki to move something that’s stuck. Another might combine CBT with Yoga to remove the issues from your tissues, as I like to say.

You are a dynamic individual, and we'll move through multiple approaches fluidly to help you heal.

"... profoundly life-changing for me.

She helped me process layers of grief and long-standing childhood trauma while also giving me real, practical tools I could use in my everyday life. I was able to move through difficult transitions that had felt stuck for years." —JK

“I’ve seen meaningful, lasting growth.

I always leave sessions feeling understood, empowered, and better equipped to handle life’s challenges. Working with her has been truly transformative, and I’m deeply grateful for her care."
—TD

"Her use of EMDR has been incredibly helpful...

She has an exceptional ability to help clarify what’s really going on beneath the surface and then work through it in a way that actually leads to change. I’ve referred multiple people to her, all of whom had positive experiences." —TK

Why Multi-Modality?

Too often, therapists, counselors, and coaches say that their modality is the best one. However, I believe the best modality is the one that works for YOU.

I have a toolbelt full of evidence-based clinical approaches, and blend them with holistic methods like yoga and Reiki to help you achieve the outcomes you desire.

How It Works:

1. See If We’re A Good Fit

Schedule your phone consultation & tell me about your goals and your ideal outcomes from therapy.

2. ‘Woo-Optional’ Therapy

I offer holistic and energy-based practices, but I don’t push them. If you’re into a certain method, we’ll run with it.

3. Live More Authentically

I want you to move the needle in your life, and you will heal your wounds and start living as your authentic self.

What to Expect From Private-Pay Therapy

Insurance companies require diagnoses, limit the number of sessions people can have with a therapist, and sometimes dictate the type of treatment allowed.

With private pay, YOU stay in charge. You can choose how often to go and what you want to work on. This allows us both to help you focus on growth, not labels.

No Surprise Bills: With private pay, what you see is what you pay. Sessions with me are $175, and you can purchase a package if you’d like. Your initial consultation call is free.

Services for Therapy Professionals

In addition to private therapy, I offer consulting for EMDR therapists and Federal Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs):

EMDR consultation: As an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, I support therapists working toward certification or looking to strengthen their EMDR practice — offering a collaborative, non-judgmental space to grow as a clinician.

Federal Qualified Health Centers: When clinicians are burning out, revenue is flat, and systems aren’t working the way that they should, Medical Directors and CEOs bring me in to consult & implement in areas including: scheduling, charting, billing codes, clinician effectiveness, and EHR systems.

"strong ability to improve program efficiency and financial performance."

Their expertise in scheduling optimization, billing workflows, and program focus makes them well-suited for consulting work with behavioral health departments seeking sustainable growth and improved operations."

"a supportive platform to bring advanced EMDR concerns..."

...for exploration and meaningful feedback. As a certified, EMDR therapist, I feel very confident in my abilities in treatment, however, having a supportive supervisor to bring challenging topics to is very helpful. — LCSW, ADS-EMDR, Sum of Resolution Counseling

"...invaluable to my development as an EMDR therapist."

Cassandra offers reassurance and validation while also thoughtfully challenging clinicians to grow. She provides clear, insightful feedback and, in group supervision, is especially skilled at ensuring everyone feels heard and included.
